I found this article the other day on Nat Geo's Facebook page. The subject is immensely interesting to me. It took me a bit to format it even though I used the page source as a good guide. I had to manually go in and redo the pictures so that they would be shown here.

For those that are interested, there is some audio, video, and other visuals not included in the redo of it here.

Please go to the link here to see it in its entirety:

If there is any way to correct the author’s name to Robin Marantz Henig that would be great?

True, it is, even though my nick is named after my favorite Bob Seger song.

Wow, I remember Supertramp from back in the day. This is just an obscure Seger tune off of his “Fire Inside” album.

Death is not a bad thing. It's a consequence of this fallen world. But God lets it also be how we keep growing when we reach the limits of this carnal life.

Don't weep for those who have passed on. Instead weep for those who are still here and can't live the abundant life which God has called us to have.

I wondeer if death is different for Christian believers from all others.

From looking at a few NDE videos now and then, it is difficult to tell if one's belief system matters or not. It's like maybe it is a trick to fool us into believeing that it doesn't matter if we have faith in Christ or not.

Even though other religious practices claim miracles, I don't think they are tempting for me to duplicate them, even though it might seem that they have more advanced spiritual knowledge than we do.

I do believe that some souls get a chance to come back. I've looked into cases of that, too. But that could be possession by a discarnate spirit, not an evil one, but a confused one who somehow didn't make a connection on the other side.

I know prayer can make a difference. And of all the many oddities I read, I don't know for sure, but it seems if the person has been baptized, they are given some spiritual protections others aren't.

Thank you for posting the article.

Thank you for posting this and spending time formating it to share with us.
Article topic that we all face, hopefully after a long well lived life.

I have already taken my sleeping meds, so I’ll have to read it at another time. At first glance, it seems very interesting.

Thank you for your efforts.

I died in 1988 from meningitis, crossed over to Heaven and returned to my body. Only partially returned as I returned with the ability to feel or perceive outside my physical body.

Other people’s stored thoughts since conception are physical objects to me now. You can blind fold a person and I can walk back many feet from them and knock them off their feet by touching the stored memories in their souls. There is far more to this than even mentioned in the article.

Many of the people who claim to have had a NDE have not had one. The experience leavess a very special imprint on the soul. It is unmistakable.

So you would be a powerful advocate for the pro-life conviction of when life begins? Human memory starts at conception?

Way back when I was in the army’s marine field we carried a medical book. It included how to determine if a person was dead. The final stage was decomposition. It prevented accidental burial at sea.
