Because of that phenomenon I'm a Trump skeptic. People are deriving too much emotional satisfaction from his candidacy. Not just here on FR but in the general public as well. And for myself personally, I'm suspicious of such movements.

Ok, I get it. People are emotional. Well, just maybe some of that "emotion" has be generated and driven by the last 7+ years of Obama. Voters CRAVE change and get emotional about it. SO WHAT! It's part of the political process. It doesn't mean we haven't thought out our choice if that is where you're going. Give voters a little more credit.

Why would I give voters credit after 7+ years of Obama? Bouncing from one emotional outburst to the next. So you freely admit that supporting Trump is an emotional response. As such I think you've answered your own original question as to why there is so much hatred around here.
