Changing his mind like he does so very often.

OK, I withdraw my previous statements about voting for Trump if he wins the nomination. What a relief, thanks Mr. Trump.

Treated ‘unfairly’? That’s the understatement of the century.

This may be the reason why...

Cruz declines to back Trump as nominee...

“I don’t want his support, I don’t need his support, I want him to be comfortable,” Trump said, taunting Cruz for dancing around the issue of whether he would support Trump if Trump were the nomine

Turnabout is fair play. Trump took “the pledge” and the GOPe has spit in his face for months. The GOPe is playing with fire. They might just get burned.

Cruz took the same position. FYI.

Good. Was anyone else asked to sign that? They have done nothing but try to defeat him and get their nut in.

Did Cruz not have to take that pledge also since he says he won’t support Trump either?

There are now 3 voting blocks Democrats, Republicans & Trump supporters.

The GOPes and establishment have been conspiring against him for months. No wonder he feels targeted. I would also be upset.

Can’t say that I blame him, after the way he’s been treated. Good luck to the wreckage of the GOP!

"I don't want his support, I don't need his support, I want him to be comfortable," Trump said

LOL! That line is so dismissive it just diminishes Cruz so easily.

I think Trump is checkmating the GOPe who have made it no secret that they will try to subvert the people’s vote at a contested convention.

Had the GOPe acted in good faith, this reversal probably wouldn’t be necessary.

I’m not necessarily a Trumpeter or a Cruzer (I would vote for either) but it’s crazy that this party is working towards a complete denial of the will of the people. Such a party deserves exactly zero loyalty.

"I don't want his support, I don't need his support," ...

Strange words indeed coming from a front-runner poised to win the nomination. Hillary must be comforted by all this.

Good development.

There’s been a massive breach of faith by GOP establishment knuckleheads. Many of us here on FR saw this would happen and wondered how Donald could ever trust these bastards. Surely he has dealt with worse over the course of his career, so it would follow that he would know the type of people he was dealing with.

I think Donald holds out hope too easily, extending the olive branch to those who deserve the harshest form of blackballing.

Just two weeks ago Donald held out the olive branch to Ted Cruz. Now Cruz will flame out and crash so badly that he may be finished in politics for good.

When Trump and Cruz had their private meeting very early in the campaign I wanted to think it was because they had this game plan to join forces somehow. Boy was I wrong! Now I believe it was one of two reasons. 1) Cruz wanted money or 2) Cruz tried to talk Trump out of running.

Can’t blame him. The GOPe has all but declared he won’t get the nomination if they can help it.

I vote Trump and third party Congress.

A Republican Congress will follow the orders of the Shadow President Mitt Romney” and thwart and obstruct him at every turn in order to set him up to fail so one of those losers can run in 2020.

No thanks. I don’t want Bus/Romney/Ryan/McConnell or any of those clowns pulling these stunts that they are pulling in election season.

I would rather take my chances with a Republican Congress. Preferably, third party candidates.

We will talk as we get closer, but these snakes should be pushed far far away from DC. The rot and corruption runs too deep.
