Montgomery Blair Sibley. That sounds like a character in a
Danielle Steel Hardback trilogy novel. He would be the executor of some wealthy person’s estate. Mr. Sibly is secretly hoping that no one shows up for the reading of the will, so that he gets to skim a little more from the estate’s portfolio.

I wonder if this person is part of the great Blair family of Maryland. The Blairs had family members serve in every administration from Jackson to Lincoln to include Montgomery Blair. They served in the Civil War and played a critical role in the formation of the Republican Party.

If so, the family has fallen on hard times.

I just googled him and he has an interesting past. He ran for President in 2012 and was in the birther movement against Obama.
