Rep. Todd Young has won the backing of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in his Indiana Senate bid, representing the business lobby's first entry into a Republican Senate primary this cycle.
The Chamber announced Monday that it had cut an ad for Young, a three-term congressman representing Indiana's 9th District in the southern part of the state. Young faces another member of Indiana's delegation, fellow three-term Rep. Marlin Stutzman, in the GOP primary.
Stutzman has the backing of the Club for Growth, a group that favors fiscally conservative candidates in Republican primaries, as well as other conservative groups.
The 30-second ad the Chamber cut for Young, a former Marine, portrays him as a "rock-ribbed conservative" who has led the congressional effort to "dismantle" Obamacare.
If the C of C is pimping him, he’s an amnesty guy.
So it sounds like Todd young will be totally owned by the Chamber of Commerce and put their interests ahead of his constituents.
And if they have to say “rock-ribbed conservative”, it really means “rubber-spine liberal”.
Stutzman lost the 2010 Primary 39%(Coats)-Stutzman(29%)-Hostletter(22%),
so would be in good shape to win.
And they say that like it is a positive thing?
Man, this primary season is one that will go down in histry of what NOT to do or say if you want to win.

I am new to Indiana and have been trying to figure out which way to go on this race, since I have no experience of either candidate. The CoC endorsement of Young tells me a lot. The CoC in Indiana had a big role in scuttling the religious freedom act.

I live here in Indiana and I really like and have voted for Todd. The Club for Growth is who did a million dollar ad against Trump. There’s a story about them that Trump tells about in his rallies. I’m trying to remember the whole story. I believe Todd is an ex-Marine and a very good man.

I wouldn’t vote for anyone the CofC supports. They are totally in the tank for the LGBT crap.
