It was contrived. Planned ahead of time. I believe her tale is true but she was obviously coached.
I don’t necessarily have a problem with props if they provide accurate information.

Contrived? Suuuuure. Trump planned 11 years ago to hand write a letter to this woman he likely knew through the pageant process and waited all this time to benefit from her misery.
Lame to think that way.
There are plenty of examples of Trump's generosity that have been brought up that he doesn't even talk about.
