I fear yoou are naive. Clinton perfected the answer that says nothing and avoids perjury during her Whitewater testimony.
Over 250 times she said some version of the following phrases:
I don’t remember; I have no specific recollection of that [document,conversation, etc.]
In a more recent confrontation, Attorney General Eric Holder used the same tactic and phrases in testimony to Congress.
And the beauty of this type of testimony is that you avoid taking the 5th which would look bad.
Saying I don’t recall, I can’t remember, I don’t have any recollection is gonna look pretty silly for someone that is supposedly running for President on her vast years of experience in Government and Foreign policy.
