Carly’s endorsement is worthless. The money for the Melania nude photo....worth half-a-million in my humble opinion. It would be curious at the next press conference for someone to ask Cruz why he gave big money to Carly...maybe he’s have a good answer, but I doubt it.
The money went from PAC to PAC, so Cruz can claim he had nothing to do with it.
Clearly there was collusion between PACs.
The smart ones always do these things at arm’s length from the candidates themselves, so that the candidate has plausible deniability. Slimy things happen AROUND the client, but they don’t actually TELL the candidate what they are doing, so that the candidate can say, honestly, “I didn’t know anything about that.”
