I would say it sucks that we had to. Turns out "Consistent Conservative" doesn't mean what a lot of obnoxious cruz supporters thought it did. Although, a lot of us knew the instant cruz got TPA passed in Congress and immediately went out to the microphones and crowed that we had to pass TPA so we can see what is in TPP.

I would think of it this way: We're here to make sure an unexposed hypocritical adulterer doesn't get exposed during the race against Hillary, which would hand them the victory.

I don't think you'll find a single Trump supporter who's glad that a man we once thought could be a conservative hero was always this. Once we smelled it, you bet beating Cruz became first in line. I'm glad he's out, but I'm not glad he did what he did.

Initially I didn't care which of the two won, so long as we had both of them fighting against the left in whatever position they were most effective.
