The NE has gotten a few right but for every 1 they get right a dozen are total horse manure.

That does not dismiss this story as false though, nor does it make it true.
The point is, one cannot totally discard the paper because they do have a track record of getting some stories right, where other agencies wouldn’t touch them with a 10’ pole.
A batter doesn’t have to bat 1.000 to be considered valuable.
