Your an idiot...a tariff would spur production of widgets here rather than abroad where currency manipulation and slave labor garners cheaply made widgets(cars)where quality is not needed when you can pump out millions and not worry about the crappy ones because you just have the slaves make more...you are not very well informed .
In many cases, the truth is lots of these folks are probably invested in companies who off shored entire industries and anything upsetting that apple cart will affect their personal bottom line.$
It’s not America they’re concerned with, it’s their own personal investments/profits. It’s the same with the companies they invest in.
