“The National Enquirer CEO David Pecker is a close friend of Donald Trump. They have endorsed Donald Trump for president and this entire campaign they’ve done two things, one, they praise Donald Trump at every turn.” newsmax.com

Senator Ted Cruz Caught Blatantly Lying On Fox News Sunday… from theconservativetreehouse.com, is a highly biased commentary, a classic hit-piece against Cruz. The “LyingTed” Trump talking points are obvious. Cruz was ahead in Utah by double digits before the super-PAC ad. He didn’t need the ad and the ad didn’t end with Cruz’s endorsement, did it?

I read the Mission Statement at theconservativetreehouse.com. The rhetoric is mostly poetic salutations, individual liberty, self empowerment (sounds weird) natural law, ok, but no clear positions on lower taxes (flat tax), smaller Gov’t, less regulations, energy independence from domestic sources of oil and gas, pro-life, global warming is mostly natural, pro-Israel, pro-Military, balanced budget, more state and local on education, etc. I don’t want to trash the website but from what I have read so far, I don’t see real conservatism or even a basic understanding of conservatism. BTW, Trump is against finishing the XL Keystone pipeline.

I decided to rise to the occassion & factcheck

Trump: US needs 'better deal' before approving Keystone 10/15

Trump, campaigning as an economic nationalist, said he wants the pipeline approved. But he said TransCanada should not be allowed to send Canadian oil through American land—“through farmland and through cities and wherever the hell they’re going” — without paying a hefty price. “When they do this pipeline, it’s going to be a very profitable thing and it’s really Canada oil coming down — so it’s not — I like Canada, I want these people to be happy, but I want the developers of the pipeline to give the United States a big, big chunk of the profits or even ownership rights, like I do in business. That’s what I do,” he said. The Toronto Star 1/24/16

Every one of the 30 articles I found from 8/15 to present had the same message. I am going to approve the pipeline but America is going to get a hefty ~25% share of the profits and American oil is a cleaner oil/tar sands vs conventional crude.

“Why should we let them build this massive pipeline, using our power of eminent domain, go through all these farms and through farmland and through cities…?” Trump asked. Des Moines Register 1/24/16
