It usually does automatically convert to html. The only reason I can think of that caused it not to do that is because I copy/pasted multiple urls with spaces between the lines. Maybe if I had pressed Enter/Return key after each url, it would have kicked into html.

Sorry, I disagree. I can not remember anyone that distinctly from HS or College that I would make those type of statements about, on or off the record. It sounds like he has always been a real obnoxious person.
Why do you refer to his classmates as kids at the ages of 43? They all seem very articulate and in the middle of good careers. No need to attack their honest reflections of Ted.
I think it is likely true, but I haven’t seen any proof so far.

It doesn’t add up. They are making present day political statements about Cruz under the cover of remembering their student days. It’s just gossip, or political spin. We shouldn’t take either as proof of anything.
As much as I loath Cruz, I hope it’s not true. Another conservative preaching Bible is not what we need in this mess.

Thank you for your comments. Neither my husband nor I can either. Yes, these are full grown adults in professional positions, reflecting back on the CREEP they knew in college.
I read the tweets. So, he’s bad because he’s pro-life and effectively defends his opinions. Is that necessarily bad?

It’s not that he says he is pro-life. It’s the way he speaks to people. THAT’S what makes him naturally repellent to such a strong degree that people don’t forget it.
