I hope that Ted Cruz has not had affairs and cheated on his wife. Not because I have some romanticized idea about him being the perfect conservative, but because of the pain it will cause his family, specifically his two innocent daughters. America does not need yet another broken family. I am not an evangelical and I don’t have a problem with the photo.
You seem to know for certain that Ted Cruz has cheated and that the story will grow in the media. I have no idea if you are correct or not. I do know that I will not be thankful for a family being torn apart just for the opportunity to say I told you so to people who foolishly pin all their hopes on men and not God. For the record, I would feel the same way the rumors were about Trump instead of Cruz.
I agree with you long - I find no happiness in watching a family suffer, regardless if I support them or not.
The people I was referring to regarding being ashamed, are those who continue to attempt to beat people over the head with the ‘We are real Christians and you aren’t’. It’s insulting and whether it’s here on this board, or in person, it never ever sits well with people.
From what I’ve read and heard, I do believe there is more to come. Time will tell but no, I won’t be doing a happy dance about Ted. I will be thankful that some of the less gracious posters slink away.
