A sleazy lawyer. No surprise. I think lawyers are natural liars. Half the time they have to defend known criminals and make them look innocent. How is that done? Lying.

[A sleazy lawyer.]

What do you call 50 lawyers up to their neck in cement...not enough cement.

Heard it on Better Call Saul.

The problem now for Cruz is that his credibility is shot and that these two statements are mostly full of BS is not helping. He is clearly deflecting and trying to change the narrative. I tend to agree with the analysis in this article. Cruz has handled this matter terribly and that is what matters the most not the allegations although I don’t like it.

Throughout all my pursuing of various places, I have not seen it anywhere indicating that Trump had explicit knowledge of the alleged affairs - how could he and no one does. Trump is smart but I don’t think he would or could do this sort of thing in the first place, nor be able to manipulate and concoct this type of story and see it through - it’s ridiculous. On the other hand, if Trump did have the facts/ knowledge I think he’d just say it himself and not go through the NE.

Furthermore, the timing according to Ted clearly doesn’t match and he contradicts himself saying that there was information out there for a while then proceeds to blame Trump. Isn’t there a certain amount of production and lead time before the NE hits the supermarkets.

Anyways, I use to like Cruz but my problem is that he indeed lies constantly. There’s a guy in the WH doing that already and conservatives railed about it so why does Cruz get a pass? Also, lately it just does not seem like he is able to handle a crisis without blaming Trump. He needs to get back to where he was at the start of his campaign by taking the high road like when he used to say I’m not going to talk about this or that and then state his positions. Also, drop Beck.
