A woman on Fox News this morning confirmed that the story has been in the media’s hands for “months” now. She also confirmed that it was initially shopped around by both Rubio’s people and some “anti-Trump” people. She said the anti-Trump people were ALSO anti-Cruz people, but they were definitely not pro-Trump people. She also said it was unclear how the info got into the hands of the National Enquirer, but it has been in the hands of media for months, so it is not new news.

Whole thing seems like Karl Rove. Get Cruz and Trump hating each other and their voters at each other’s throats.
Romney endorses Cruz in one state and then Kasich in another.
Do anything to prevent Trump or Cruz from reaching 1237 (I believe that’s the ‘clench the nomination’ number).
Then steal it at the convention with a ‘consensus’ candidate through some ‘compromise deal to save the party.’
Cruz thinks the GOPe will let him get the nomination. No way. They are just using him to block Trump and he will be tossed aside.
