WASHINGTON — A Donald Trump supporter aired unsubstantiated rumors of Ted Cruz infidelity on CNN on Friday. Within an hour, Cruz accused Trump of using “henchmen” to peddle tabloid “garbage” and “complete and utter lies.”
By mid-afternoon, Trump took to social media to deny his involvement in the story.
Mainstream news outlets had steered clear of the rumors and a report in the tabloid National Enquirer before the Trump supporter — appearing live with Amanda Carpenter, a CNN commentator who had worked as Cruz’s communications director — demanded Carpenter address the allegation that she had an affair with the senator.
“It is categorically false. You should be ashamed for spreading this kind of smut,” Carpenter shot back, visibly angry, denouncing the “tabloid trash.”
Twitter and other social media have erupted since the Enquirer posted its story Thursday afternoon, with the hashtag #Cruzsexscandal trending. Cruz detractors mounted an impromptu crowdsourcing effort online to identify the five women whose photos the Enquirer published with black bars across their eyes.
Cruz was campaigning in Wisconsin as Friday’s CNN segment was airing onstage live at a town hall in Oshkosh. The Enquirer report did not come up in the Q&A. The senator addressed it with reporters afterward.
Cruz also posted a denial on his Facebook page.

Leaks of these unnamed sources opining on Cruz’ fidelity are dizzying.
Heidi is a case of nerves and the photos up lately show her suffering with surprising weight gain, or else they are old photos of another time maybe, when she was heavy, but I don’t think so. I had to look twice to see if it was her.
Campaigning is too hard and for way too long to stay healthy. It really all needs to change, somehow.

No, I don’t. But I do know that Donald Trump pays Democratic lawmakers huge amounts of money for what he himself claims is necessary to do business. And the businesses he is in (casinos, golf resorts, etc.) are dominated by the mafia because the real money is the prostitution. And I know that what made Trump’s casinos in New Jersey unique was that they had live strippers, another field where the real money comes from prostitution.
Of course, Trump would be shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED, that anyone might think that he’s cool with prostitution. That’s why he markets his brand with semi-nude pictures of his wife, handcuffed to a briefcase!

I figure that is because Ted is just one of many male and female floozies. They all do it!
I think Ted has been busted. It remains to be seen, but the outlook isn’t too good that he isn’t guilty.
Lets face it. His campaign knew this story was going to break.
