It is not so simple.

Whenever a candidate answers allegations, more questions get asked. It gets a candidate on the defense and off message.

Lawsuits are useless. Freedom of press is a basic right. They have real people, making real claims. They also can legally choose to NOT disclose who the sources are. And going after the sources will be perceived as persecution and oppression regardless of whether there is any substance to the claims. If these people retract their statements, a dozen more will step forward to make similar claims.

It’s like saying a candidate must apologize for something. Whenever they apologize, the complaint never goes away. It just makes it worse. Next they call for the candidate to drop out.

And how the fake church ladies ignored the bait question to Trump about asking God for forgiveness... Cruz and his supporters have been outed as hypocrites. They wear 'Jesus' like costume jewelry.

So hypothetically if you were running the Cruz campaign, what would YOU advise Ted Cruz to do regarding this situation?
