Yes, Cruz did deny it. He said in the press conference that the story was completely false.

That 'denial' was lawyer-speak. Here is what Cruz needs to state in unequivocal terms:

1.) "I have never been unfaithful to my wife Heidi"

2.) "I have never had an affair, a mistress or mistresses"

3.) "I demand an immediate apology and retraction by the National Enquirer or I will instruct my attorneys to pursue legal action against them"

Now how hard is that? But Cruz hasn't made that sort of statement, he's too busy trying to blame Trump for all of his troubles.

I don't believe it came from Donald but even if it did SO WHAT. It does not matter who gave the info to NE!! The real issue is if it's true that Canadian Ted had these affairs. Given what a lyin creep he is, I believe he did.

Exactly so. What you outline is what an innocent man of integrity would state when faced with a smear.

Sadly, it seems the price of admission to power in Washington is you have to be compromised so that the "powers that be" have the power to destroy you at will--that's what keeps them all in line. The ruling class doesn't care what your vice is as long as they own you. The fact that they don't have that leverage over Trump is what terrifies them most of all.

I want to see and hear Ted answer these questions put directly from a reporter, like Gary Hart had to.

I also want to see Ted file suit against the NE. Then he and these women will have to submit to depositions and deny the affairs under oath.

If he's asked those questions, he should say he'll only answer them after Trump is also asked. Trump's on-the-record affairs have been totally ignored by the fawning press. Of course they won't be ignored once he secures the nomination. Then they'll be "bio" stories all over the media detailing Trump's scandals to help Hillary.
