No they didn’t. My mini-ranch will not fire 5.56.

223 only and currently it is jammed shut with a round in the chamber.

Ruger has advised me to take it apart as best I can and submerse it in WD-40 for two weeks. Then get an RMA.

Depends on the year made and version of the Mini-14.

My Ranch Rifle is stamped for the 5.56 and .223 rounds.

The Tactical Rifle is stamped .223 only. I do not know why.

You might ask Ruger to mod your chamber with a 5.56 finishing reamer, while they’re attending to other issues. Takes just a few minutes.
