Why didn’t you do it Rick?
if this has any significance, it will be the one that sets Heidi off
she knows where Ted said he was on Tuesdays and Thursdays, she knows where he was supposed to be, was he where he was supposed to be?
she will know who the woman is
these are the sorts of details that wreck a marriage
sad, I’m not a Heidi fan, but I have sympathy for her at this point
Good question. After following politics for many years it appears there is an unwritten rule that campaigns do not release damaging information themselves—but use a third party outlet- even though it is out in the open that the campaign has opp research staff and funds.
My guess is that it gives the impression of protecting the integrity of the system where the candidate is more concerned with winning over the public with their personality and views rather than the personal endeavors of the opponent.
“if this has any significance, it will be the one that sets Heidi off”
We’ll see. I get the same vibe from Ted and Heidi that I get from Bill and Hillary.
It’s all about business. She wants political power to implement her CFR policies and he wants her Goldman Sachs connections to raise money for the campaign.
We have to consider the possibility that she is well aware and has been for some time.
Exactly. Heidi talks about “their campaign” and “their decision” to run.
Heidi is another Hillary.
What difference dies it makes, and besides, IF true, this would be a resume enhancer on a dem ticket.
Only Ted was running as “the face of God”.
No. Rick knew they had it and were reluctant to publish and was offerering them a suggestion on how to get it out there.
Ed
The most revealing thing has been Cruz’s reaction to all this. Put yourself in Cruz’s shoes. If you were unjustly accused by a national magazine, especially of something this terrible, what would your reaction be? I would be shouting my innocence from the rooftops. I would demand a retraction. I would demand to know what evidence they had so I could refute it. I would demand to know their sources, so I could face my accusers. I would have my lawyers working overtime so they could be at the courthouse with a libel suit within a few hours. Cruz hasn’t done any of this.
Instead, he went on TV, hardly mentioned the National Enquirer, blamed everything on Trump, Trump. Trump, and then bizarrely, started talking about copulating with rats.
That is not the response I expect from a righteous man unjustly accused. That is the response I expect from a guilty man who’s seeing his political career going up in flames and has no idea how to stop it.
Don’t ask the cult for consistency. Their guy committed adultery as well.
Tiger’s milk! Yeeeearrgh! winning!
I see nothing of substance to this story.
If it had substantance the GOPe would have run with it by now.
Especially Rubio.
And they know how to get it to media willing to run with it.
Enough already!
No, the timing is the key. The timing was not an accident. This was known long ago, but Ted had to knock out all of the viable Christian candidates first. It is possible the entire Cruz campaign’s purpose was to neuter the influence of Christian voters.
I say this as someone who supported him at one point.
I think you’re fooling yourself.
Yes.
Agree this is a nothing. If the alleged video actually existed and actually demonstrated anything it would have come out.
This story remains an evidence-free smear, which all of the named parties, Pierson, Carpenter, and Cruz have strongly denied.
But if it holds Cruz down through Wisconsin, it will have done its job.
