This story is Exhibit A of why you don’t buy in to any politicians 100% to the point where you’d be utterly devastaTED if they turn out to be phonies.
I liked Cruz in the beginning, not knowing many details of his past and positions, except what had made national headlines. But after Iowa, I looked into him with more scrutiny and did not like what I was seeing.
I can understand if a person changes their mind on things over time, a la Reagan, and even myself on some things. But I get particularly turned off (and even sometimes angry) when a politician will piss on you and tell you it’s raining. That’s what Ted Cruz does when he votes for the Corker Bill, or Fast Track, or 2 years after the fact claims that he was lying to everyone before and really wanted immigration reform to fail. I absolutely cannot stand that type of politician, and while I always said I’d vote for him if he got the delegates, I have not been a fan of him for a couple months now.
After Ted’s rambling, incoherent press conferences and interviews that are all always about Trump, I can’t believe people are still supporting him. They’re under a spell. I don’t even know if that it’s a “Love Cruz” spell or a “Hate Trump” spell, but it’s a spell. Leftist mobs riot at a Trump rally, Ted Cruz talks about how terrible Trump is. WARM BODIES LIE DEAD in the wake of yet another Islamic attack, Ted Cruz talks about Donald Trump. Enough people speculate about Ted Cruz having affairs that someone writes a story about it, another press conference about how it was all Trump.
It’s beyond ridiculous that he’s even still in the race. If he was running against literally anyone OTHER THAN Donald Trump, he would be getting annihilated by the media. The fact that they’re treating Ted with kid gloves over all of this is just proof that they’re 100% in the tank against Trump. I noticed today, there was NOTHING about this story in the MSM until after Cruz had his press conference, and then every headline was CRUZ BLAMES TRUMP FOR TABLOID ‘GARBAGE’.
All very telling. Cruz has barely said two words about the actual merits or lack thereof contained in the article. “I deny this and TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP!”
Bring Ted on camera, let him put his hand on the Bible and look the Americna people in the eye and deny that he had sex with these women. No lawyer weasel words, not attacking the source or blaming it on Trump, just yes or no, Senator, did you do it?
He hasn’t given that answer yet. Will he ever?
