As a young teen I somehow acquired the wartime printing of “Carrier War” and read it over and over again, yet when it came time to pick a service I went Army because they offered the most after I scored a 138 GT.
That's cool! I just recently purchased a two volume set on the history of Aircraft Carriers. It's an incredible history, and to think it's all less than 100 years. Imagine telling Orville and Wilbur that we're going to take their invention and land in on a moving ship. Ha!!
