To me the real story is the hypocrisy. I don’t care about he affairs as much as the hypocrisy. Cruz supporters and their “my Conservatism is pure and you’re is schnit” attitude acting like St. Cruz isn’t as mortal as the rest of us. All the slams and slurs thrown at Trump, his kids, his wife, his supporters,,because the ‘perfects’ were so sure Cruz was the closest thing to Jesus on the planet. That whole superior snotty “we’re better Christian’s than you are” attitude is about to get a metaphorical slap in the face.
When Cruz is found out to have cheated - I fully expect the holier than thou types to STILL defend him. Their hypocrisy is off. the. charts.
If he says he repents, he can leverage his get out of hell free card.

It is the hypocrisy which makes this so terrible. Cruz has been conning his own supporters for a long time that he is a principled conservative Christian...he carries his Bible everywhere but, he is a man of the world...not of God.
I feel sorry for his supporters who I know the vast majority are very good people, we get heated from the competition but these are our brothers and sisters we are talking about. As the phony façade that is Ted Cruz falls away and they see him for what he really is, they are going to be heartbroken. So, at some point soon we need to offer a shoulder to cry on, to not rub it in their face and to understand the loss they truly are going to feel.
