Trade agreements take the opposite approach to global governance. These deals look like a corporate Bill of Rights, full of protections for global investors and corporations, enforced by special courts or tribunals. The shadowy trade tribunals are fundamentally different from courts and legal principles we expect in modern democracies. They are completely one-sided — favorable to global corporations, but closed to citizens. Trade tribunals seek maximum possible trade and maximum opportunities for investors. They are indifferent to public good or public interest.

It would be nice if we could export ALL of our soybeans.

We don’t need anyone making trade deals who thinks that trade deals exist to “encourage democracy, respect for human rights.”

And this is the plan of the Cruz's and the Bushes. Heidi Cruz is one of the architects of the NAU. An issue I hadn't thought about since the Bush administration. I thought it was backburnered, then I heard Petraues shilling for it last Saturday morning and started looking into it. The CFR is pushing it as hard as ever and you can bet your ass that if Cruz wins we'll start incremental implementation almost immediately.

I believe that was the price for the strong support the Bush clan is now supplying.

On the plus side, our CEO’s have 5 vacation homes instead of just 2. So it all balances out.

The Oligarchs of the United States have done this to us, on purpose:

At the Bildeberg meeting in 1991 David Rockefeller walked up to Bill Clinton and asked him what he thought about NAFTA.
Clinton replied, “If it’s important to you, Mr Rockefeller, it’s important to me.”
Rockefeller replied, “Thank you, Mr President.”

In Congress lots more Republicans voted for NAFTA than Democrats. Same for all that WTO bullcrap deals.

Passed during Bill Clinton’s presidency. Him and his Secretary of Treasury Robert Rubin (Wall Street creature) were the major pimps for NAFTA and other free trade sell out treaties.

Giant sucking sound.

Screw those free trade bitches. I voted for Ross Perot 1992 and NAFTA was a big reason. Also worked for Pat Buchanan that year

I am sure Mr. Trump will repeatedly remind us of this fact during the Summer and Fall.

But a true Justice System can only have “Just Laws” which only promote “public virtue”, All unjust law is “null and void” (Justice Marshall).

Lockean philosophy/Free Market Capitalism is a product of Free Will/Individual Natural Rights from God, which only came from the Christian Worldview. It is what Montesquieu knew was essential for Free Republics—”Virtue”. It goes back to the ideas of the Ancient Greeks—that without Virtue, there is no freedom possible. The Virtue Ethics of Aristotle did not exclude Man/Boy sex at the time—since it was the norm, as was slavery, and child-sacrifice/killing infants and selling human beings.
Christianity perfected the Virtue System of Aristotle, with the additional Theological Virtues.

Without Virtue in the people, Freedom is impossible, so all Just governments have to promote “public virtue” only. Promoting Vice will collapse the system (Cicero).. All Justice Systems have to promote “public virtue” or else it is unjust law (unequal, evil, theft, or uses people as a “Means to an End”).

Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes removed virtue from our “Justice” system—which was impossible-—but control of Words/Ideas will control the beliefs and attitudes of whom are told even the most irrational things, like Good is Evil and Men are Women.

America is being destroyed because we destroyed our “Justice” System. Cicero stated that when Law ceases to be Just-—it will destroy and collapse the culture/country.

Hopefully Cruz gets knocked out soon due to developing sex scandals. Look for this next week.

Don’t worry, folks. Most of the suits still have their jobs, at least the ones who count, and they are better paid than ever.
