Soon after Hillary Clinton's arrival at the State Department in 2009, officials in the information technology office were baffled when told that a young technician would join them as a political appointee, newly disclosed emails show.
The technician, Bryan Pagliano, was running the off-grid email server that Clinton had him set up in her New York home for her work as secretary of state. But even as years passed, Pagliano's supervisors never learned of his most sensitive task, according to the department and one of his former colleagues.
Pagliano's immediate supervisors did not know the private server even existed until it was revealed in news reports last year, the colleague said, requesting anonymity because of a department ban on unauthorized interviews.
Clinton's decision to side-step the official state.gov email system has since shrouded her campaign for the U.S. presidency this year in controversy and legal uncertainty. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is conducting one of several inquiries into the arrangement, which saw classified information passing through her unsecured clintonemail.com account.
The newly disclosed emails show Patrick Kennedy, the department's under secretary for management, oversaw the hiring of Pagliano. But Clinton and the department continued to decline this week to say who, if anyone, in the government was aware of the email arrangement.

Did Pagliano have access to Clinton’s server emails? If so, did he have the appropriate security clearance?
Ah- that clears it up.
Probably yes and probably no, in that order. If he had a clearance he's know very well how not to handle classified materials.

He ran their email network in her Senate Run, if I recall correctly. He was already working for the Clintons, or the Clinton Foundation.
She had clear intent from the beginning. She N*E*V*E*R intended to follow the law on email. She did not want anyone to know what she was doing, nor question her later about what she had done.
She’s in trouble as well with the Billary money laundering foundation.

Absolutely and indisputably.
He was the server admin with root access to everything on it. Or ever passed through it...or was backed-up off of it.
Likely transferred data from her 2008 Campaign server or maybe even used the same one.
He might have even transitioned the domain name and MX records in the Internet servers and knows where all the data is...whether on tape or other media.
US Attorney: “Mr. Pagliano, what was the level of your security clearance?”
Pagliano: “What security clearance?”
All the way down.

I don’t. I just know it takes about year and several thousand dollars to investigate persons for TS/SCI/ type clearance.
I doubt she payed for his, or the other persons that had access, to the info that was stored and transmitted from the server.
There was an article months ago that mentioned the first server Hillary used was the one set up in her house for slicks use when he left the White House. That was against the advice of slick’s people. At some point Hillary went to a server managed by an outside company. Pagliano probably had some involvement in the migration if not sole responsibility.
Hillary obviously had to keep her pay-to-play business off government computers. Fortunatley whether it was Pagliano or someone else, the file deletion/wipe was less than professional.
I wonder what’s going to happen to Sid Blumenthal? He had clasified info aomost verbatim as confirmed by the NSA. I don’t see him getting away with that. Unless he stays in some country that won’t extradite him, he’s toast.
The next few months are going to be beyond interesting. Hillary is dead meat.
