“While he didn’t offer specifics about whether Ford would be rolling back it’s $2.5 billion expansion of the company’s operations in Mexico, it was clear that Fields was committed to addressing Trump’s complaints directly.”

So, nothing really changed except that they wrote Trump a letter.

“So you think it’s good for the President to be making the decisions on how to run a company like Ford?”

I for one think it’s a good idea for the president to be *talking about* the consequences of our—yes, our—manufacturers moving to the Bean Congo or other third-world crapholes.

I didn’t say he should be forbidding them to move, but we should all be more aware of what it costs us.

The president should also be looking at the ways the executive branch makes the US a hostile environment for business, and taking measures to correct the situation. Abolishing the EPA, for instance.

The Art of the Deal. Ford might be saying that factory's already in the works but if you don't tax us out of business, we'll keep our other plants here.

Trump still stopped the bleeding and I doubt there will be no tariff on their products just not so high. IMHO
