Reminds me of the US Dept of Interior Rep who visited a farmer and told him he had to inspect his property and needed to go out into a field in front of his house.

The farmer said “You can’t do that”.

The govt rep pulled out of his briefcase a letter and told the farmer “These papers say I have the authority to be here.”

He then went into the field and began doing a survey when out of the corner of his eye he say a bull come charging toward him.

In flight and fright, he began running and called out to the farmer and cried “Help me!”

The farmer yelled back “Show him your papers!”
