It isn’t about “cheap labor” when the aliens get handouts instead of jobs. It’s also about illicit votes.
Yes, those that are interested less in breathing free than in living free are a big part of the problem. That goes without saying. We’ve got a domestic welfare class that is already breaking our backs.
But like the H-1B indentured servants/slaves, the illegals that work are docile and cowed. That’s what makes them attractive to well-heeled employers (many who don’t see the irony in living in gated communities) trying to skin a nickle.
