DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The City of Dallas has a murder rate that’s up 71 percent this year compared to 2015.
Forty-one homicides were committed thus far in 2016.
The Dallas Police Association said it’s a sign the city needs to hire more officers.

Dallas doesn’t need more officers. It needs more enforcement of the laws and replacement of liberal judges.
In recent years, many Dallas cops have left and gone to work in Fort Worth, a city that pays them better and enforces the laws.
Actually, we’ve got a incompetent, Affirmative Action, black Chief of Police, but he’s a pussy when it comes to law enforcement and protecting the citizens, so let’s call it a push.
The SeeBS story has no racial breakdown on the murderers or people murdered. It does not identify how and in what part of the city the people were murdered. It only hypes that more police are needed, without providing information on hiring in the past, criminals apprehended, or other relevant data.

They react to murders and then try to find the killer(s).
You might need more police detectives to solve murders, but to imply you need more police to prevent murders does not make sense ... unless you hired one police per person to protect them.

Sometimes. It depends on the victim whether they put a lot of effort into it.
As in Missouri, this increase will be tied to the change in gun laws even though, as in Missouri, the increases started before the new laws were passed.
But Texas didn’t legalize pot and everyone said the 17% increase Colorado had was all about legalizing pot.
exactly....they do nothing to prevent crime....they don’t any more police, unless they are stationed 24/7 in the high crime areas....even then, they react, they don’t act...
