While there is no requirement that you must be an attorney to be on SCOTUS, I can’t see this happening. There are far better places for Sarah Palin in any administration.

It’s not even a requirement that SCOTUS justices be born in the US. So Ted is good to go. And btw, I would support his nomination = it is what he is trained and experienced to do.

Yes, but wouldn't it be a delicious poke in the eye to the political establishment?

My opinion is that Palin would prefer to avoid living in DC for any reason. Alaska is a slice of heaven whereas Wash DC is a cesspool.
