Now, in a couple months, when another terrorist attack happens there, can I get credit for “warning about it’s condition”, before it happened?
Will I be able to get 24/7 interviews and media coverage of just how great and wise I am, because I “called it” in advance?

You would have said the same about Nazi Germany, perhaps. But would you have had to speak out against it in the highest echelons of government and society knowing the malice that would come your way?
Sometimes leadership isn’t being the only one to see the enemy up ahead. Leadership is stepping out to be the first to attack and having others follow suit.
You provide vision, purpose, motivation, and direction.
But more important than those is actually stepping out.
