In the beginning, I was #1 for Cruz. As this campaign progresses, I find that Cruz supporters are largely iconclastic Trump haters willing to propagate and defend the most outrageous lies and execute the most despicable acts against other candidates. Cruz won’t fix anything but his own nest.
Pure bs. Cruz’s supporters were around long before Trump ever joined the race. It’s actually the other way around. It is the Trump supporters who have done everything in their power to turn a genuine conservative hero into a villain. It has been the strategy of Trump and his Trump Troopers ever since Trump started in on calling into question Cruz’s elgibility, honesty, integrity, etc. It’s a totally dishonest campaign, and shows the low character of Trump and a large segment of his minion followers.

And I found Trump repugnant. Then I got to know them.
Appearances can be deceiving. It has been something like dating a pretty girl who you come to learn is, sorry to say, ugly inside and a rather plain girl, but beautiful inside.

I haven’t been on FR too much the last few years and now that I’m back it’s difficult to read what we’re saying about each other. Simply incredible. We’re as divided as the country is divided.
I’m a Cruz supporter.
I haven’t read anything a Trump supporter said about Cruz and his supporters that fits who I am, what I think and what I believe. Everything I’ve read from Trump supporters tells me I don’t want to align with that group.
I’m hoping both the Trump and Cruz groups can step back, take a breath and realize we used to be on the same team.
