"Experts".
I see this as a good thing. Enough Stanford know-it-alls and their failed ideas.

“First rate people”
They really do think of themselves this way. If they’re so brilliant, how did they get us into the mess in the Middle East? What arrogant fools these people are.

"I dont know any of them," said Kori Schake, a research fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution and a former official in the George W. Bush State Department. "National security is hard to do well even with first rate people. Its almost impossible to do well with third rate people."Bull. Either Kori is lying or stupid.

“”I dont know any of them,” said Kori Schake,” -— I have heard of some of Trump’s people. No one has ever heard of this Kori woman. She may be brilliant and wise, but she is not impressing me here.

Good. New blood will weed out any moles that have been embedded in security.

Seems to be nothing wrong with the people named. If Politico’s agin ‘em, that can’t be bad.
It will be interesting to see who will emerge as Trump’s foreign policy guru, who may or may not be an official member of any foreign policy team.

Name one area of foreign policy where the “experts” were successful.
The Best and the Brightest under Lyndon Johnson gave us the Viet Nam War. Carter's brillant experts almost lost the cold war. The KGB felt they had won in 1980.
The “experts” called Reagan a “dunce” and attacked everything he did. When Reagan won the cold war they said it was because of Harry Truman fifty years earlier.
The “experts” failed with North Korea, Iran, Syria, Iraq, China, Libya and everywhere else in the world.
We need another “dunce” like Ronald Reagan.

The "experts" are way over-analyzing the situation.
