Well, let’s think about this. The people who give a fig are those on the same educational level as George, without his credentials, of course. His credentials? His good looks and the influence of his Dad, Nick Clooney, the lifelong disk jockey and his Aunt Rosemary, the singer, who brought him to the attention of the Hollywood crowd who always fall for a pretty face, regardless of what lies between the ears. I doubt that George could tell you much of anything about how nations have fallen in the past, about how all the things he promotes put fuel on the fire of a nation in decline, his nation. How I wish that pretty face had studied history and had not lived in that bubble of socialism all his life. He could have really helped the common folks. Ah, well. It is an old story in America, isn’t it. Flash your good looks and your money and have them both connected to success in Hollywood and you become Solomon with the blessing of those who only thirst for power.
