Ted Cruz on Monday mocked Donald Trump's grasp of history and promised not to be neutral in a negotiation between Israel and Palestinians, something Trump has said he would do if elected president.

Trump said no such thing in his speech.

"Perhaps to the surprise of the previous speaker, Palestine has not existed since 1948," Cruz said, drawing mixed laughter and applause from the crowd.

Spoken exactly like a professional debater with few actual life achievements. I really have lost a lot of respect for Cruz in this cycle.

[promised not to be neutral in a negotiation between Israel and Palestinians... Trump said no such thing in his speech.]

I heard TRUMP say he would be neutral with my own ears, and that was the main reason I voted for CRUZ.

>>Ted Cruz on Monday mocked Donald Trump’s grasp of history and promised not to be neutral in a negotiation between Israel and Palestinians, something Trump has said he would do if elected president.

Trump said no such thing in his speech.<<

Trump DID mention in one or two of his rallys that he intended to be neutral in negotiations between Israel and the Pali’s. He also said in those rallys that he was Pro Israel.

Did he double talk when you compare what he said previously with what he said tonight? NO. What he did was ...typical Trump...added more detail. Now we can know why he would be neutral at a negotiation table.

He said tonight that in order for any peace talk to work, it must come from the folks involved. It must be between them. It can’t be forced on them by others who have different interests, or else it won’t work.

NOW we can see why a neutral stance would be a wise stance. If for example, Israel and Pali worked out a deal between them, WE can’t take a side in that. We’d HAVE to be neutral because this would be THEIR agreement.

If we were to assist in formulating an agreement between the two, we have to be neutral because this is THEIR agreement. How can you go to the table if one of the parties feels like they aren’t going to get a fair shake?

That was kind of a bombshell he dropped with regard to the new baby being Jewish...I had a really good belly laugh when I heard that...a good natured one.

Cruz reminds me of a family member of mine...arrogant little snot who refuses to learn anything except how to find one more thing to pat himself on the back for and how to put someone else down. Thinks he’s better than anybody at everything. Been like that since a kid.
