Children don't have the critical thinking skills or the necessary information to make logical decisions on complex issues. Their opinions on such issues are meaningless and usually reflect whatever they've been told most recently - like parrots. I reiterate my complete lack of interest in the opinions of children regardless of what Art Linkletter might have written.
You’re right on.
regarding marriage, I recall stories in which some little boy said some other kid is his friend, and he has 2 moms and he goes to their house to play and all is well.
And regarding global warming, these kids are oh so concerned about the polar bears environment. They so completely and grossly over simplify things to give us a child’s point of view.
Would they be so eager to do this, if they have a group of kids who say they know the facts of life, and everybody has to have both a mother and a father???
Would they be so eager about it, if some kids point out that their have been numerous ice ages in earth history, and we simply don’t understand enough to know what sort of cycle we are in now???
Any such kids who made any such comments, found their comments edited out of these programs, that’s for sure.
