No, he doesn’t. That’s only in the leftist Anti-Trump fantasy land many so-called “conservatives” are living in these days.
Personally I think that it’s a major talent of Trump’s to be able to talk both casually and formally. Rallies are mostly casual or at least informal speech, and they work for most people. But now we see when something is worth being Presidential about, he can be Presidential too.
We can see now how he’s moving into ‘Presidential’ territory now that the nom is getting much closer to being cinched, so I’m pretty sure you’ll see more of what you like soon.
The best President our nation has ever produced? That’s a little over the top, don’t you think? He would not even be close...
:)
My goodness, he said it, look up the quote. It’s well documented.
Krauthammer and Bloody Megyn have a migraine.
I listened to Trump’s speech. It was by far the most powerful speech that I have seen him give. It was incredibly inspirational. Then I tried to watch Cruz’s speech to the same group. What a contrast! I hope everyone tries to watch both speeches. Cruz’s effort was as petty as a cockroach by comparison. What an embarrassment. I can only speculate that he and his advisers have both been hitting the sauce.
And I'll get clobbered here but I thought Cruz's speech was better. He seemed to have a better command of the facts.
As I said under the Cruz thread, both of these men are 100 times better then Clinton. I will vote for either. My NY primary is basically decided and I'm not sure who I am voting for yet. I will say this, if Trump wins NY with 65-70% of the Republican vote, NY may be in play in the general. If any less, we are again a lost cause. The only way Trump wins NY in the general is with huge turnout and overwhelming republican support while peeling off huge numbers of Independents and Democrats. And NY democrats are a special breed of stupid, thinking Hillary is one of their own. And to put things in an even sharper perspective, everyone complains about the GOP-e but without them we lose the election, especially in NY where we tend to favor establishment endorsed candidates. I'm not saying I do, it's just a fact that's how this state (and many others) roll. We have to come together somehow.
He knocked it out of the park, got applause, raucous cheers, and some laughs from self-deprecating humor.
It was a huge love fest for the greatest leader on the political scene since Ronald Reagan. We are seeing the rise of the best President our nation has ever produced. History is in our sight.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I agree. You are absolutely right. Among all who posted here, you have it exactly right.
A lot of those that "feel uncomfortable" about him did so because they either weren't paying attention and listening, or refused to pay attention and listen because he was a rival of their guy - many still suffer the latter and choose to cherry-pick things out of context.
I remember when he first said that he thought the current peace process was a waste of time because there would be no peace unless things that will not change were to change. he also said these talks did nothing but handcuff Israel.
He gets it but many decided that what he really said is that he wanted to throw Israel to the dogs - exactly the opposite of what he was saying. They're still out there and going nuts about Trump's successes.
RONALD and DONALD
A good team and a good advertising
He was right by calling out the pandering.
He did very well, and I think he surprised them.
Yes, they did. They went wild at many points, but that was where you heard the real fury.
Whatever it is he will do it singing, tapdancing and whatever else he has to do without missing a beat. It will also make sense to sane people...
Yes I realize he didn’t start the hands discussion; but he did mention it several times at his rallies after Rubio brought it up.
Yes, I have faith in Trump.
Israel? He’s one of the worst things to even happen to the United States.
