They’ve sucked so bad because this con-man has taken advantage of a fever amongst people who used to be principled conservatives. Who has trump sold his positions to? 40% of the GOP primary electorate which is about 1/6th of the general election population leaving the rest to split the vote. But guess what? He has to do really well with the other 5/6ths of the electorate to win and his nomination means a Hillary presidency because that isn’t happening. You can bet she’s celebrating her fortune for not facing Rubio and is measuring the drapes. At this point Cruz is the only hope for keeping the Senate and avoiding the serious possibility of losing the house and handing the keys to the entire government to the Dems as you know they will entirely nuke the filibuster this time. I know Trump supporters might have trouble with math but when you permanently alienate 60%+ of the electorate you are a toxic loser. This idea that there are massive droves of white voters waiting to be tapped is absurd. Unfortunately we don’t live in Reagan’s America anymore. In fact, if the country were demographically the same as it was when Reagan was elected Obama never would have won. The real sad part is this was a totally winnable election against a flawed Dem candidate and we’re flushing it down the toilet and a long with it the Supreme Court. We deserve the government we get is what I say,
