John Fund misses an important point.

People who early-vote are dead certain of who they are supporting. Nothing is going to change their mind.

They are immune to big-money interests dropping in during the last weekend to tell people who they should vote for.

I early voted in Tennessee when the establishment was consolidating around Rubio. That seems like ten years ago; It was less than a month.

I voted early for Trump on the last day of early voting here in TN. That violated my general rule of not voting early in GOP primaries. I normally don’t vote early in primaries because somebody I was thinking of voting for might drop.out or there might be a strategic reason for my selection that could change up to the election day. The can eat to the whole early voting thing is the early voter always runs the risk of not having all matters to consider.
