Ward is being held on no bond in the Orange County Jail.

Ward was arrested on a domestic battery charge in November 2015. Less than a month after the arrest the state attorney’s office declined to prosecute him, saying the case was not “suitable for prosecution.”

People who didn’t do anything wrong don’t run back into the apartment to hide their pistol.
