In South Carolina Cruz had hundreds of paid staff, between his campaign and his Super PAC over $7 MILLION was spent. He had the endorsement of over 300 pastors spread across every county in the state. His whole strategy centered on winning the Evangelical vote.

Enter Glenn Beck. Beck was going around saying that Cruz had been sent by God to guide us thru the rapture. Then he said that Scalia’s death was part of God’s plan to get us to vote for Cruz.

The result, Cruz lost the Evangelical vote, and didn’t win a single county in SC, and got 0 delegates.

Beck’s nutjob religious pronouncements backfired on Cruz in SC. Hopefully, Mormons have as much sense as Evangelicals, and totally reject Cruz, and his nutjob sidekick, Beck.

At that point, hopefully Senator Cruz has enough sense to drop out, something he should have done on Wednesday.

If Cruz thinks he'll benefit from a brokered convention, he's nuts. The popular kids are only pretending to like him. He has to understand that they're going to toss him to the curb as soon as he does their bidding and blocks Trump.
