Mitts a bishop, is that confirmed?
Well, I think that is common knowledge that he is, but I was talking about each Bishop in each temple ward. As I understand it, for the Mormons the Bishop is like the chief priest in each major congregation. You can google it for yourself:
"In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), a ward is the larger of two types of local congregations, the smaller being a branch. A ward is presided over by a bishop, the equivalent of a pastor in many other Christian denominations."
Those guys are like a demigod in their church. I have read that when he dies, the Bishop becomes the "Latter Day Saint" ruling, in their own piece of heaven, all those that have been born to him or worshiped under him in the church. That is why they are so big on genealogy, so they can stake out their claims to their slice of heaven.
