you’re correct. The licenses say, ‘federal restrictions apply,’ so I’m going to guess that the DL info is not relayed to the Registrar of Voters.

and for those who think California is all dem liberals, please check out this link - we’re more conservative inland. The lib wackos are mostly surrounding urban coast areas - much the same as is found on the east coast.

when a state constantly rigs elections so a particular party maintains control of the state, how far should national electoral rights be upheld when common knowledge of dictatorial corruption controls the state? imo; it only condones the political crimes by allowing a state such as CA to have electors in the electoral college for the 2016 elections.

You should know one way or another, Detroit.
Have yourself some Flint water and take a break

You haven’t improved your status. And, you might
note that this web site is based in evil California.
Furthermore, California FReeper folks financially support
Free Republic more than any other state.

This is the link I promised. Ignore if it does not interest you. Take care...

This was when Ted was working as Bush’s domestic advisor, with specifics on immigration.

It was the pre campaign season in 1999. What bothered me was that Ted was either helping Bush to develop a bad stance on this, or he was simply willing to go along to get along on it.

If Bush had made it known he didn’t agree with Proposition 187, I would not have been able to work for him. I would have told him exactly why too.

At any rate, here is a link to the memo. Make of it what you will.

You’ll also see a workup on how to introduce the issue of children, so as to avoid “being mean”, by strict enforcement.

GAK!

“How can this be legal in any way, size, shape, or form?”

Here’s the actual law...

https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=201520160AB1461

It’s not quite as blatant as the article describes, but almost. Basically the registration to vote is automatic unless the illegal specifically tells the DMV that they are not eligible to vote.

And if he “accidentally forgets” to tell them, or simply claims ignorance, he would suffer no penalties if he’s caught voting. From the law....

“This bill would provide that if a person who is ineligible to vote becomes registered to vote by operation of the California New Motor Voter Program in the absence of a violation by that person of the crime described above, that person’s registration shall be presumed to have been effected with official authorization and not the fault of that person. The bill would also provide that if a person who is ineligible to vote becomes registered to vote by operation of this program, and that person votes or attempts to vote in an election held after the effective date of the person’s registration, that person shall be presumed to have acted with official authorization and is not guilty of fraudulently voting or attempting to vote, unless that person willfully votes or attempts to vote knowing that he or she is not entitled to vote.”

So bottom line, they left a fig leaf to pretend that they don’t allow illegals to vote, but the fig leaf is the size of a pine needle.

It’s legalized fraud pure and simple.

CA is not known for it's great thinkers. Financially, it is a crony state. Socially, it is an abomination, largely to blame for much of our societies ills. I know about CA.

With CA participating in massive vote fraud, any votes from this state should be thrown out.

ANY STATE THAT KNOWINGLY ALLOWS ILLEGAL ALIENS TO VOTE SHOULD BE DISQUALIFIED ON THE GROUNDS OF VOTE FRAUD.

Great thinkers in California?
I can think of a great thinker from my tiny
home town here in rural California. His name
was Josiah Royce. But more important than Einsteins are
the California farmers who put food on your table and
make the state twice as productive in agriculture as
the second most productive state.

Crony state?
Care to discuss Obama`s bailout of the auto
industry, Michigan?

Socially
Only a complete moron believes that a physical address
is responsible for the ills of society. It is liberalism
that is responsible for societal sickness. Factually,
the liberals who have ruined California came from the
East. And, you have plenty of liberals in your own
backyard that have nothing to do with California to
focus your blame on us.

Ok, I get that but Moonbeam did not specifically authorize illegals to vote. I know, I know he probably was thinking they should vote but he did not sign legislation that said specifically they could vote.

As far as lawsuits, all that I think would be needed would be one instance where an illegal voted using a Moonbeam driver license, and a lawsuit could be filed for faud asking a court for injunctive relief. Some states have shown that illegals refuse to do jury duty because they claim they are not citizens, and they also found on the voter roll having voted. Things like this are sufficient to file a suit. Why hasn’t one been filed?

Powell, a typical Democrat scumbag, in the original sense of the word.

I remember him setting on the back of his boat drinking Mint Juleps and laughing at congress.

Jerry Brown is a failed Jesuit priest with a highly aggravated sense of self righteousness. He has damaged California almost beyond repair.
