Absolutely true! Trump also uses advanced persuasion techniques... see Scott Adams blog, including easily repeatable phrases, and adjectives that stick. Bernie Sanders is also quite good at this...but he has no media savvy. I’ve posted this before... but I live in a blue Maryland next to blue DC... I use cabs. I’ve had many cabbies of color who have repeated Trump phrases to me... including a black female uber driver.
I would hate to sit down across the table from him. He’ll go off all over the place then come back to the point. I’d still be “over there” somewhere.
Scott Adams has really had some good insights this election season. It has been quite interesting. He’s a smart guy in general, was a PacBell engineer before becoming a cartoonist full time, as I remember. I used to subscribe to Dogbert’s New World Order Newsletter. The idea being that when Dogbert attained his goal of being supreme ruler of the Earth, the subscribers would of course be part of the ruling class. This back in the late 90s. It was quite witty and fun, beyond the daily cartoon. Often written from the perspective of Dogbert, of course.
