Cruz will be proven by the course he chooses. He has an opportunity to be a statesman, or ruthless.
He has a controversial reputation, due solely to his tactical and raging ambition, as seen by some, or his unquestionable awesomeness and virtue as seen by others.
Without an assist from nefarious Establishment forces he is losing to TRUMP now, and will be losing to him going into the Convention.
Simple. Cruz folds, or he fights with the wrong guys against the popular vote in order to upend the primary voters decision.
Rock meets hard place and the Republican Party is returned safely into the hands of the GOPE.
Cruz is the decider.
I agree...it is in his hands.
I sent him my letter...also sent it to my own reps.
Cruz could wait until ha and Trump together have more than enough to seal the deal...and then announce for Trump.
That would be the right thing to do IMHO at this point.
Or, he could take all of the candy/ faux support, etc. the GOPe is offering him, and fracture the GOP.
The GOPe will not allow him to become President either IMHO. They will get their brokered convention...and then throw him to the curb.
So, he has a choice to make and I am praying he makes the choice that unites the country and helps it turn around.
If no candidate has a majority (not just a pluraliyt) of delegates, there was no "primary voters' decision."
