Bill [Buckley] told me that he did those kinds of speeches to subsidize NR, that it could not make it on circulations.Is that still true today? Or rather, was that still true before they decided to commit suicide with the Trump issue?
Do any of you have the time to track down who is funding them?

My understanding, from conversations with R. Emmett Tyrrell many years ago, was that not ONE of these magazines can make it without a heavy donor base.
