I think it should be illegal for anyone who has held public office to take speaking fees with in 2 years of running for public office and 10 years after leaving office, it should also be illegal to have book advances in excess of 10,000 dollars and an author that does not pay out enough royalties has return the advance they took

Same with book deals. A big donor “buy” 100,000 books but then only accepts delivery of 100. The rest of the order is then cancelled but some how the money is never returned.
