Former First Lady Laura Bush won't say whether she would vote for Donald Trump if he's the Republican nominee.
"I'm not going to answer," Bush said in an interview with USA Today. "Don't ask that."
Bush campaigned alongside her husband George W. Bush on behalf of her brother-in-law, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush earlier this year. The Bush couple reportedly is not planning to endorse again in the Republican primary this year.
"We don't have any religious test in the United States. And that's what we need to remember. We need to remember what our own values are," she said.

I'd rather think about what our values should be, and that includes values that say Islamists are vile animals that deserve far worse than waterboarding.

Why resort to insults? I’m telling you what I know to be a fact and it is being expressed pretty much everywhere. By the way, I won’t but I could give you detailed information on these ladies and they are far from “weak.” The hysteria over the wall,( which will take years to get funded, sending “them back” will be tied up in the courts for even more years) is what is weak because people are buying it. (I voted for Trump in my primary, I despise him).

I refuse to bash a dignified First Lady for not wanting to allow the MSM scum to trap her into getting used against any candidate. I say, wise woman.
You don't have to actively send them all back. You just remove welfare benefits. You make sure no jobs are taken by anyone here illegally. You make employers responsible to use the e-verify system and penalize them if they hire without doing so. You stop sanctuary cities. You disallow sending money out of the country by anyone who cannot prove they are here illegally. You deport those who commit crimes when caught. You enforce existing laws. Etc.
80% will self-deport. The 20% can be handled. The wall will keep them from swarming in continually.
W spoke badly about Cruz at a fundraiser for Jeb not too long ago. Laura, i would think is a Hillary supporter. Don’t forget their deep connections with Brother Bill.

Sounds great to me. But this isn’t what Trump said, (wish he would have because it is far more realistic and detailed than “they’re going back and the good ones can come back in”).
If they are what you say they are, four years from now they will stand in line for hours just be able to vote to re-elect him.
It's a shame they won't be able to tell their kids they had the wisdom to vote for him the first time.
That is totally anti-Trump. She is talking about Trump’s comment about no Muslims immigrating. That’s the religious test she’s talking about.
