I always wondered if Lifelock was worth a damn. They offer a guarantee of some sort don’t they?
They do have a guarantee that they will help you restore your identity. That is the bread and butter.
I have had them for many many years.
I do recall some times when I did something new- internet service, new cell service, where they actually called me - immediately- to verify the identity of the person opening the account. They use more sophisticated methods nowadays as well.
I think they’re a rip off and they’re not effective, I was not paying the full membership price and I ended up with a new Walmart green card.... I called them and they told me because I wasn’t paying full price I didn’t get “all” the protection..Got rid of them..State Police told me to freeze your credit, so I froze my credit....when I needed a new car, the dealership told me which credit company they used, I called them and told them to unfreeze my credit on this day for Honda, Honda called, credit verified, had my credit refrozen, got my new car....simple simple.....
